Terms of Service

These terms govern the provision of grass cutting and related services by GrassCutting.my, operated by Rightway Nursery ("we", "us"), to our customers ("you", "the customer") across Petaling Jaya and the surrounding Klang Valley.
Services Provided
We offer the following core services:
- Recurring grass cutting plans (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly)
- One-off grass cutting visits
- Vacant land and empty lot clearing
- Selective herbicide (racun) spraying
- Grass edging and trimming
Tree trimming, pruning, and turf laying are available on request and quoted per job.
Quotes and Pricing
Pricing is per visit, based on compound size, grass condition, and access. Recurring plans receive a discounted per-visit rate. Quotes are provided free by WhatsApp, phone, email, or contact form, and are valid for 30 days.
For larger or overgrown jobs we conduct an on-site assessment to confirm pricing before commencing work.
Bookings and Scheduling
Bookings are confirmed via WhatsApp, phone, or email. Recurring plan visits are scheduled in advance; one-off visits are booked on availability. We make reasonable efforts to attend at the scheduled time, but service is weather-dependent, particularly during heavy monsoon rain.
Scheduled visits may be postponed if weather conditions prevent safe and effective work. We will notify you and reschedule promptly.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of each visit unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, bank transfer, and DuitNow / e-wallet payments. Invoices for recurring plans may be issued monthly.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing safe access to the property at the agreed time
- Removing fragile items, pet waste, and personal belongings from the work area before our crew arrives
- Keeping children and pets out of the work area during cutting and spraying, and during the advised re-entry window for herbicide treatments
- Notifying us of any hidden obstacles (sprinkler heads, plumbing, electrical lines) before work begins
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Recurring plan visits can be paused or cancelled with reasonable notice. One-off bookings can be rescheduled at no charge if notified at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a small fee to cover allocated crew time.
Liability
We carry the appropriate care and diligence in delivering our services. We are not liable for:
- Damage to hidden or undisclosed obstacles in the work area
- Pre-existing conditions of the lawn or compound
- Acts of nature, including weather damage
- Indirect or consequential losses
For any damage we are responsible for, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Herbicide (Racun) Application
Selective herbicide spraying is performed in PPE using approved chemistries. Customers are advised to keep children and pets off treated areas until fully dry and through the advised re-entry period. We are not liable for outcomes arising from non-observance of these instructions.
Photographs
We may take photographs of our work for portfolio, training, and marketing purposes. Photographs will not identify the customer or specific property addresses without your consent.
Disputes
Any dispute regarding services should be raised within 7 days of the visit. We will work to resolve it promptly and fairly.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
